The ComforTmax
Here are some pictures of the ComforTmax in Summer 2005. The rear bodywork and seating is completed, but new front bodywork to enclose the footboards is still required.
Several images are 'rollovers' - move your cursor over them and an alternative image is shown.
Although it might appear to be a solo, the ComforTmax can be converted into a two-seat machine.
The pillion seat base is a separate piece that has to be added when the bike is 'converted' into two-seat form. When it is out, there is good access to refill the fuel tank which is in the luggage boot of the original scooter. This means there is a void under the rider's seat - I tried and tried to devise a way of storing the pillion seat here when not in use, but 'twas not to be.
The top of the tailbox opens to get at 'luggage boot'. The base easily holds two full-face helmets (or the folded pillion seat and one helmet).
The pillion seat base folds in half to reduce the space it takes up. The top of the tailbox is quite spacious and can hold a third helmet.
The previous development of the ComforTmax to this point can be seen here.
The ComforTmax has now been sold to Monty - visit his site here.
