MIDGET 2 TRAILER

This is a redesign of plans that appeared in Popular Mechanics in February and March 1940 under the title "Streamlined Midget Trailer serves your vacation needs".

It seems copies of the original plans can no longer be downloaded from the Internet.

This redesign loosely follows the original plans but makes the following changes:

· A new chassis design is shown, made from 2” square tube and angle.
· The wheels have been moved rearward 4” compared to the original, which appears likely to be tail-heavy.
· The permanent bed has been replaced by settee that extends into a bed.

As well as external, internal and chassis layers, the drawing files contain sufficient geometry information to accurately lay out the profile.
