Nesting Diagrams
The parts of the scow made from plywood need to be cut out of standard 2440 x 1220 (8ft x 4ft) sheets and these two diagrams show how to lay out the parts with the minimum of waste. For both the 6mm (1/4in) and 9mm (3/8in) plywood, part of the sheet is left over and this is used for making up odd brackets and pads.
