The car is my tiny Daewoo Matiz - 800cc, 800kg and 300mm shorter than the scow.

The car is not only short, it's also very tall and narrow, so I was a little concerned about what it would be like to drive with the scow on top.

In fact it turned out to be no problem at all… as long as you made free use of the gearbox to maintain speed up hills. It actually turned out to be quite an effective 'fast lane cruiser' - maybe the sight of a telephone box doing 75mph with a coffin strapped on top was what made people move over!
