The Scow Rigged

In this photo, the scow is rigged and ready to sail.

Some things to notice are:

The white lines inside the scow are the epoxy filler used to build it - there are no glass tapes, except on the 'chine' for abrasion resistance.

Although the balanced lug is supposed to be a simple rig, there are actually quite a few strings required.

Similarly, leeboards should be simple but require quite a few fittings and strings to make them work.
