This rear view shows the amazing tail light which is a translucent GRP moulding made by a firm specialising in models.
The louvred top part has two fluorescent tubes behind it, making it the largest tail light of any bike.
The UK transport authority wouldn't allow the quick-start fluorescent tubes to be used as brake lights, so there are four conventional bulbs at the bottom.
A pair of fibre optics run from the tail light to two telltales in the right screen pillar, so the rider knows if all of the tubes/bulbs have failed - this doesn't seem very likely!
